Falcon Cheer Earns Spot in OIA Championship!
On Saturday, October 18th, the Kalani Competition Cheer Team traveled to Campbell High School for the OIA Eastern Division Championships with one goal in mind—qualify for the OIA Championships. The team delivered an impressive, high-energy routine that earned them a spot in next week’s OIA Championship Tournament, marking a proud moment for first-year head coach Sierra Uchima-Pyun and her talented squad.
This year’s competition team features seniors Katie Kokata-Tabar, ChrisarahDestiny Kuratsu, Rachel Lee, and Maya Orlando, joined by teammates Cady Brand, Lainee Ono, and Serena Uchima-Pyun.
Following their performance, the four seniors quickly returned to Kalani to join the sideline cheer team for the football game—just in time to celebrate Senior Night with their fellow Falcons.
The Falcons will take the mat once again at the OIA Championships on Friday, October 25th at Radford High School, with their performance scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Admission and parking fees apply, and tickets can be purchased through the Kalani Athletics Website.
GO FALCONS!
