Kalani’s Developmental “White” Girls Volleyball Program provides an entry-level opportunity for student-athletes in grades 9-12 to learn and grow in the sport of volleyball. Designed for those new to the game or seeking to strengthen their foundational skills, the program emphasizes teaching proper techniques, developing game awareness, and building confidence in a supportive team environment. The developmental program serves as a pathway to the junior varsity or varsity levels.

Biography: Coach Shaylee Yamada is a member of the Kalani coaching staff, taking on the role of coach for the Developmental/White Girls' Volleyball team in 2025. A proud Kalani alumna ('22), she began her coaching career immediately after graduation in 2022. Coach Yamada is passionate about the development process, finding it rewarding to watch her athletes work hard and grow their skills throughout the season.
