The Kalani High School Varsity Boys Soccer team is one of the most technical and competitive programs in the state, representing the pinnacle of excellence within the Falcons’ athletics program. Competing in the demanding OIA East Division, the team consists of motivated student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional technical ability, tactical awareness, with a deep commitment to the game and above all else, their team.
Under the leadership of our experienced coaches, the program emphasizes a team first mentality that is driven by elite performance, discipline and accountability. Players are expected to uphold Kalani’s proud tradition of excellence in the classroom and on the field. The team can only excel and achieve by training with intensity, competing with integrity, and modeling sportsmanship both on and off the field. GO FALCONS!

Head Coach: Jaymes Barlos

Biography: Coach Jaymes Barlos, born and raised in Washington State, is a lifelong student of the game. He is the current director of Oahu League of HYSA and has been playing and coaching soccer at various levels domestically and internationally for over 35 years. As a player, he played collegiately and a little beyond. While living in Germany he was one of a very few Americans invited to gain experience coaching DFB youth and mens' teams in the Rheinland Pfalz Palatinate. He also coached a couple of International tournament teams in Spain. His recognition of talent has often lead to both team and individual player success. Using his international experience and expertise as both player and coach, Coach Barlos provides leadership to the Kalani program so that it maintains its winning tradition while simultaneously showing a standard of class and sportsmanship.
