The Kalani High School Varsity Boys Basketball program is a member of the highly competitive OIA East Division. The program is built on a foundation of discipline, teamwork, and relentless effort.Â
Under the leadership of dedicated coaches, the program emphasizes player development—focusing on skill refinement, basketball IQ, and mental toughness—while fostering unity, accountability, and a love for competition. Each season, the Falcons strive to uphold Kalani’s proud athletic tradition by preparing student-athletes to compete at the highest level and to grow as leaders in the classroom, in the community, and in life. Biography: Coach George Weeks brings over two decades of coaching experience and a proven track record of success. He has led teams to multiple championships, including an ILH Division II title with Hawaii Baptist Academy and an OIA Division I title with the Kalani’s girls’ team. A two-time Coach of the Year, Coach Weeks has also guided Menlo School (Atherton, CA) to a PSAL Championship and has contributed at the collegiate level as an assistant coach with the men’s program at Hawaii Pacific University.
