The Kalani High School Varsity Surfing program proudly launches its inaugural season, marking an exciting new chapter for Falcon Athletics. Competing in the OIA Surf League, this program celebrates Hawai‘i’s deep connection to the ocean while promoting skill, discipline, and respect for the sea.

Because surfing requires advanced skill and sound judgment, prior surfing experience and strong ocean safety awareness are essential. Athletes must demonstrate confidence in various ocean conditions, understand surf etiquette, and prioritize safety for themselves and others.

This program provides student-athletes the opportunity to represent Kalani in one of Hawai‘i’s most iconic sports while fostering teamwork, environmental stewardship, and pride in our island heritage. GO FALCONS!
