The Kalani High School Varsity Softball program competes at a high level within the OIA and demands a strong foundation of prior playing experience. Designed for student-athletes with advanced skills, knowledge of the game, and a commitment to excellence, the program emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and competitive spirit. Players are expected to demonstrate refined technique, situational awareness, and a deep understanding of both offensive and defensive strategies. Representing Kalani with pride and integrity, the team strives to uphold the school’s tradition of athletic excellence while preparing athletes for success beyond high school competition. GO FALCONS!

Biography: Coach Iris Stremick joined the Kalani softball staff in 2022, building on coaching experience she began gathering in 2015. A graduate of 'Iolani School ('95), she played competitively in high school and continued for two years at Pacific Lutheran University. Coach Stremick believes the greatest value of softball lies in equipping athletes with skills like respect, resiliency, and passion. Her goal is for players to recognize that the same tools needed for success in sports are the ones that will lead to success in life.
